If you are at least 18 years of age, have not been convicted of a felony and a US Citizen you are QUALIFIED to serve.
Commonly asked questions:
*If you are Qualified to serve and it is an inconvenient time you still must complete the questionnaire. Once you are summoned you will be entitled to a postponement to a different time frame.
*THIS INCLUDES COLLEGE STUDENTS.
College students are eligible to serve and need to complete the questionnaire. A student away may complete the questionnaire online or over the phone needing only the Index number. Once summoned, a student can postpone to a break or a recess.
*We will work with you to make your
jury experience as convenient as possible.

regarding your individual medical needs,

Please know the Courthouse is handicap accessible
and an elevator is available.
*If a questionnaire was received for a person who no longer lives at the address - The questionnaire should be forwarded to them so they can provide
the needed documents.
Jurors are summoned from ACTIVE residential source lists such as
Dept. of Motor Vehicle, Board of Elections, and Income Tax lists.
ALL LISTS NEED TO BE UPDATED WITH LEGAL RESIDENCE
in order NOT to receive future notices from Columbia County.
