NIAGARA COUNTY JURY INFORMATION
 All Supreme/County trial jurors are on “standby.” Trial jurors report for service only when instructed.
Instructions are placed on the system after 6:00 p.m. on the last business day before a person's service date.  They are then updated by 6:00 p.m. daily, until the term is concluded.
You may also call 716-280-6455 to hear a recorded message.

Grand Jurors, City Court Jurors and Town/Village Jurors, please check your summons for instructions.

Jurors with #s 3 - 59:  your jury services are now complete. You do not need to report, nor check this message again. You will receive 6 years of service credit just for being available and for following these instructions. No further action is required on your part.

General Information​ ​
 
Absence or Emergency ​   ​If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call our office at 716-280-6450 after 8:30 a.m. on the day you are to report.
 
Accessibility  If you have a disability and need accommodation, call 716-280-6450 or 1-800-662-1220 for relay call.
 
Court Hours   Court normally operates from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day.  Court sessions occasionally, but rarely,​ continue beyond 5:00 p.m.  The Commissioner of Jurors Office is open from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday.
 
Electronics​  ​Cell phones and other electronic devices may be used in the jury assembly rooms and other waiting areas.  They must be turned off during jury selection and trial. There is public access Wi-Fi in the County courthouse. 
 
Meals ​​There is a mid-day lunch break every day.  Several area restaurants are within a short walking or driving distance.  Please ask court staff for suggestions if you are not familiar with the area.  You may also bring your lunch, if you prefer.  Meals are only provided to deliberating jurors.  All other meals are the responsibility of the juror.
 
Parking/Transportation The court does not pay for transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations. There are free public parking lots at all locations.  Some street parking is also available.  However, please use caution to avoid parking in a NO PARKING area or reserved parking spot.
 
Security  ​Court Officers are stationed throughout the court.  Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter.  Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process.

Weather and Emergency Closings  Jurors are instructed to check local radio/television listings.  In the event of a facility closing, information will be posted on the juror alert message phone line, main office line and this website as soon as it becomes available.
