Absence or Emergency If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call our office at 718-675-8990 before 9:30 a.m. on the day you are to report.

Court Hours Court normally operates from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day. Court sessions rarely continue beyond 5:00 p.m.
Electronics Cell phones and other electronic devices may be used in designated areas. They must be turned off during jury selection and trial. Public access Wi-Fi is available.
Meals There is a mid-day lunch break every day usually between 1 and 2p.m.
Parking/Transportation The court does not pay for transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations. We recommend using mass transit. There is a multi tiered indoor municipal parking lot with an entrance on Central Ave., as well as two private lots, one on Central Ave. and one on Wall St.
Security Court Officers are stationed throughout the court. Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter. Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process. Doors open at 9:00 am.
