Jurors may be summoned to any court in Schenectady County

 Jurors numbered 1-49, and also jurors numbered 101-200
 MUST now send in the Part H of your summons in order to receive credit for calling in and be removed from the current list.
If you do not send in Part H, you will be marked ABSENT and will be sent a new summons in the next two months.
If you wish to remain in the pool and serve on another date please contact this office by
 Friday, January 25th, so that we may set-up a new date of your choosing.
All trial matters for this week have now been resolved and you are dismissed however, It is very important that jurors
numbered 1-49 and 101-200 turn in part H of your summons in person, by email or regular mail no later than Friday, January 25th
or you will be marked absent and re-summoned in the near future.
Please note there is no where on line to submit this form.

General Information​
Absence or Emergency ​   ​If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting please call our office as soon as possible at 518-285-8516.
Accessibility   If you have a disability and need accommodation call 518-285-8516 or 1-800-662-1220 for relay call. 
Court Hours   Court normally operates from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day.  Court sessions rarely continue beyond 4:30 pm. 
Electronics​  ​Cell phones and other electronic devices may be used in Courtroom #5 prior to orientation. All electronic devices must be turned off in any other courtroom. There is a public access Wi-Fi in Law Library on the 3rd floor of the Schenectady court house.
Meals ​​There is a lunch break every day (food not provided). Dining and shopping facilities are located within close proximity
of the courthouse in downtown Schenectady.
Parking/Transportation The court does not pay for transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations. Reduced fee ($3 all day) is available at the public parking garage at 220 Broadway (behind Proctor's)
 - you must bring your parking stub with you to be validated by the Commissioner of Jurors.  Accessible parking is available on State Street in front of the County Building.
Court Security Officers are stationed throughout the courthouse.  Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter the building.  
Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process.
Verification of Attendance   If an employer requires proof of service verification of attendance is available from the Commissioner of Jurors office.
If your employer requires a time of arrival and/or departure you must ask the Commissioner at the time of attendance.
