 All trial jurors are on telephone “standby.” Trial jurors report for service only when instructed.
Grand Jurors and Town/Village Jurors  check your summons for instructions.
 

 

THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS FOR THE JUNE 29, 2015 TRIAL JURORS.
 
ALL PENDING CASES FOR THE TERM OF JUNE 29, 2015 HAVE BEEN RESOLVED. THEREFORE JURORS ARE NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME.
 
BECAUSE YOU HAVE MADE YOURSELF AVAILABLE TO THE COURT, YOU WILL BE GRANTED 6 YEARS OF GOOD SERVICE CREDIT.  HOWEVER, IN ORDER TO OBTAIN THE GOOD SERVICE CREDIT, YOU MUST CALL IN TO THE NUMBER LISTED ON YOUR SUMMONS (607-622-8217), LISTEN CAREFULLY TO THE MESSAGE AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.
 
IF YOU DO NOT CALL IN AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE THE GOOD SERVICE CREDIT.

General Information​ ​
 
Absence or Emergency ​   ​If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call our office at 607-622-8216 after 8:30 a.m. on the day you are to report.
 
Accessibility   If you have a disability and need accommodation, call 607-622-8216 or 1-800-662-1220 for relay call.
 
Court Hours   Court normally operates from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day.  Court sessions rarely continue beyond 5:00 p.m.
 
Electronics​  ​Cell phones and other electronic devices may be used in the County facility.  They must be turned off during jury selection and trial. There is public access Wi-Fi in the County Office Building.
 
Meals ​​There is a mid-day lunch break every day.  
 
Parking/Transportation​  The court does not pay for transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations. 
 
Security  ​Court Officers are stationed throughout the court.  Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter.  Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process.
