General Information​ ​
 
Absence or Emergency ​   ​If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call our office at 315-665-8118 after 8:30 a.m. on the day you are to report.
 
Accessibility   If you have a disability and need accommodation, call 315-665-8118 or 1-800-662-1220 for relay call.
 
Court Hours   Court normally operates from 9:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a lunch hour and breaks throughout the day.  Court sessions rarely continue beyond 4:30 p.m. The building does not open to the public until 8:45am.
 
Electronics​  ​Cell phones, cameras, recorders and other electronic devices are not allowed in the building.  Please leave them in your vehicle.
 
Meals ​​There is a mid-day lunch break every day.  You may bring your own lunch or purchase lunch from a local restaurant.
 
Parking/Transportation The court does not pay for transportation fares, parking fees or parking violations.  Free parking is available at the municipal parking lots on Montezuma Street and along Broad Street in the village.  Do NOT park in the two-hour parking spots as it is strictly enforced.  Limited handicap parking is available at the Hall of Justice, 54 Broad Street, Lyons.
 
Security  ​Court Officers are stationed throughout the court.  Members of the public must pass through a magnetometer to enter.  Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process.
