WHERE TO REPORT:
 
 
Jury selection is held in the  Courthouse which is located on Route 19 in the Village of Warsaw at 147 North Main Street.  The parking lot entrance  is located off of West Court Street.   Entrance to the building is through the round rotunda that connects the Courthouse with the Government Center.
 
 A security check at the metal detector is mandatory for anyone entering the  courthouse. 
 
Jury selection is held on the second floor. An elevator is available for your convenience.

 

 

 
 

 

General Information​ ​
 
Absence or Emergency ​   ​If illness or emergency prevents you from reporting, please call the office at  1- 585-786-8756 . Please leave a message if it is not during normal business hours.
 
Accessibility   If you have a disability and need accommodation, call 1-585-786-8756  or 1-800-662-1220 for relay call.
 
Court Hours   Court normally operates from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; doors open at 8:30 a.m.   Court sessions rarely continue beyond 5:00 p.m.
 
Electronics​  ​Cell phones and other electronic devices may only be used in the hallway area.  They must be turned off during jury selection and trial. There is public access Wi-Fi in the County courthouse. 
 
Meals ​​There are  lunch breaks given to jurors and numerous restaurants located near the courthouse and, locally, in Warsaw.
 
Parking/Transportation The court does not pay for transportation fares, mileage or parking violations.  You may contact the Wyoming Area Transit Service if you need to arrange transportation at  1-585- 786-6050 or 1-800-627-0481.   If the courthouse parking lot is full, additional parking is available where permitted on the side streets.
 
Security  ​Court Officers are stationed throughout the court.  Members of the public must pass through security to enter including a magnetometer and a  x-ray machine for any carried items.   It is suggested that any sharp objects that you carry be left at home or in your vehicle or they will be taken, secured at the security desk and returned to you when you leave the building.   Please arrive early and allow extra time for this process.
